This is a great lake cleanup event, and dive season opener - you should be there too!

DIVE EVENT & Safety Protocols to be followed (where applicable):

​ LIMITED numbers of participants via PRE-REGISTRATION Required for Divers and/or Family or Shore Support Volunteers

MUST have COLD-WATER dive experience prior to registering

WAIVERS/RISK AWARENESS FORMS must be read & voluntarily signed prior to participation (everyone, no exceptions)

MUST BE PRESENT at Dive Safety Briefing prior to participating in event dive(s)

MUST follow standard dive safety guidelines & all directions of event organizers

COVID/PUBLIC HEALTH: Minimize interaction and maintain physical distance of at least 2 meters (6 ft) if applicable

COVID/PUBLIC HEALTH: IF COVID signs/symptoms present or suspected - do not participate, protect yourself and others

Divers, Remember to Bring:

All your dive gear and tanks - 1-2 tanks, BCD, regulators, drysuit/wetsuit, mask, snorkel, fins, boots, weights, dive computer, hood, gloves, small tarp to change on. Gear Rentals: Contact event host to reserve: The Dive Shop for gear/tank rentals or your favourite AB Local Dive Shop (LDS).

Other dive gear that you will find useful to bring: dive light, cutting device, writing slate, compass and small tarp to change on.

Your certification card and logbook

Warm clothing, even if the sun is shining, be prepared for typical Alberta weather which could include rain, snow, and everything in between

Most events no longer include food and water, bring your own lunch or snack, juice, water, etc.

Lawn chair, bug spray, sunscreen

Small amount of cash for registration fees, raffle draws, etc.
