8:00 am Registration

9:00 am Dive Safety Briefing & Event Start

12:00 pm Lunch Break - Subway Lunch provided for participants, additional family members welcome @$5.00 each

1:00 pm Diving Continues, plus divers can help cleanup underwater

3:00 -3:30 pm Prize Presentations

A great day of underwater, fun dive activities plus an underwater lake clean-up.

                       DIVE EVENT & Safety Protocols to be followed (where applicable):  

​​

  •       MUST have COLD-WATER dive experience prior to registering

  •       WAIVERS/RISK AWARENESS FORMS must be read & voluntarily signed prior to participation  no exceptions!

  •       MUST BE PRESENT at Dive Safety Briefing prior to participating in event dive(s)  Don't be late!

  •       MUST follow standard dive safety guidelines & all directions of event organizers​​​​

  •       PUBLIC HEALTH:  IF COLD/FLU signs/symptoms present or suspected - do not participate, protect yourself and others 

​

 

Remember:

  • Please keep scuba gear tidy & respect others right to use the park & access its facilities. 

  • WATCH for BOATS, surface near shore when possible, good compass skills an asset!

  • Must bring or rent all your own scuba gear, plus at least 2 tanks (or more if extra dives wanted). 

  • Raffles might be available for donated prizes from sponsors like our generous LDS (Local Dive Shops)  -  so bring your cash!! 

  • If staying overnight additional casual dives might be possible on Sunday

  • ENJOY Cold Lake diving!

Divers, Remember to Bring:

  • All your dive gear and tanks (at least 2 tanks or more) - BCD, regulators, drysuit/wetsuit, mask, snorkel, fins, boots, weights, dive computer, hood, gloves, dive light, knife and small tarp to change on

  • Other dive gear that you need & should purchase & bring to this event: writing slate & compass (one per buddy team)

  • Your certification card and logbook 

  • Warm clothing, even if the sun is shining, be prepared for typical Alberta weather which could include rain, snow, and everything in between

  • IF you have ALLERGIES - please bring own lunch, snacks, water, juice, etc.

  • Lawn chair, bug spray, sunscreen plus a small tarp to change on

  • Enough cash for registration fees, raffle draws, 50/50's raffle, etc.
